I struggle sometimes to get up at 3am to head to the farm. But I thoroughly enjoy spending my mornings with these beauties, getting some cardio in everyday of the week is just an added bonus. ☺️

Giving my favorite hen a salt soak. Hoping this helps her. Shes been acting strange, walking with a weird wobble, not eating much. Not sure what else to do but she sure doesn’t mind this at all. Her butt is quite filthy hoping this helps. Any suggestions?

Our cow went to the butcher yesterday, and we were able to pick it up this morning! This is our first time purchasing a cow, and I believe we will be doing this every year. We filled both freezers with grass-fed beef—can’t beat that! I asked the butcher for all the beef tallow and got 40 pounds for free! Now I can finally venture into making my own tallow lotions, body butters, and lip balms. ☺️

Need a quick, nutritious dinner? Zucchini boats for the win! I have a-lot of zucchini from our garden that I’ll be experimenting with but these are always a hit in my house. I had some strawberries that needed to be used up, so I made a homemade cake batter (first time ever and super happy with it) for a strawberry upside-down cake.

Spent some family time picking our blueberries from our bushes. They all scattered when it came to doing the real work of washing, sorting, and pulling stems off 🤦🏻‍♀️. This is how I spent my Saturday night. Happy it’s done so I can start canning some jelly now!

Husband wanted pretzel bites. Never made them before but they are friggin good! Husband and kid approved! It’s crazy that this and two loaves of bread took me alllll day. I need to work on my photography a bit. The pretzel bites aren’t burnt I swear! lol

I made my first flatbread with just two ingredients. It is so delicious, and there are so many options to use it for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!

Did some blueberry and Mulberry picking today! There’s just something about picking nutritious foods right off your own land that is so satisfying. 😊 now I have purple/blue fingers and feet! 😂

Making a super quick and easy dinner tonight, I realized I needed brown sugar but didn’t have any. Do you know how simple it is to make your own? Luckily, I had some molasses to make some brown sugar! Brown sugar in the store is typically not expensive, but if I can make anything at home myself, I’m going to do just that!

The look on my boys’ face when they came to the dinner table and looked at their plates 😂 priceless. This was my first time making spaghetti squash, it’s definitely going to be apart of the dinner menu. So good, and so simple. Had some honey glazed carrots on the side. 👌

I was craving something sweet so I threw together this sourdough discard lemon muffins with a lemon glaze. Didn’t do much of measuring, just threw it all in the kitchen aid and right into the muffin pan 😂. Turned out pretty good! Sweet craving has been satisfied. 👌

I haven’t been drinking coffee for the past five days, and it’s actually been great. Instead, I’ve been drinking matcha with raw milk and honey. I typically get bad migraines when I don’t have my coffee every morning, but since switching to matcha, I haven’t had any. Matcha naturally contains caffeine, which might explain why I haven’t experienced any migraines.

Before I left for my weekend away, I thought I had grabbed a bag of matcha from the store. However, later that night, I realized I had mistakenly bought maca root instead. I was so annoyed with myself! The next morning, I decided to use it just like matcha, as suggested in the instructions, and it tasted like dirt 😂. Despite the taste, I drank it.

I looked up maca root to see if there were any benefits, and to my surprise, it is very good for you! It has many great health and hormone benefits. I found an herb shop during my trip and discovered some mango matcha, which I had never heard of before. Now, I use both maca root and mango matcha with some maple syrup every morning. It’s so good!

Coming home from an amazing weekend away with my favorite ladies to a big surprise from my husband, who worked on this table while I was gone to get it ready with a built-in storage shelf, I am in love with it. It’s perfect! I am so blessed, grateful, and very appreciative.
