A couple of weeks ago I shared a post about my almond paste recipe 😋

I have now also shared my Gevulde Koek (Almond Filled Dutch Cookies) recipe over on the blog.

In this recipe you can either use the ‘from scratch’ almond paste recipe that is on the blog or the store bought version. Either way it really doesn’t matter - they are absolutely delicious 😋

This is one of my recipes that I am really proud of because the end results are fantastic (believe me I have tried different ones and played around a lot to get this recipe right).

Pinch, punch, 1st of the month!

Good morning everyone, can you believe that it is March already?

I can already feel Spring is in the air and have been treating myself to bunches of tulips from the supermarket.

They have really brightened the house up.

I will be sharing the photos of how I styled them in a post about decorating the home with tulips in the next day or two.

If you are planning a trip to the Netherlands 🇳🇱 then Giethoorn is definitely a must!

The village is built on a network of waterways (often referred to as the “Little Venice” of the Netherlands)

One of the best places to visit in The Netherlands is the lovely village of Giethoorn. With pretty thatch cottages surrounded by waterways it is a must see!
