"Mending Mittie's Tomb" will be showing at the South Georgia Film Festival this afternoon! Sadly I will not be there, but definitely check out this awesome festival if you can.
Mittie Manning died in 1875, aged 4. Her unique grave and the story behind it has ensured she is not forgotten, even as her grave has deteriorated. To keep her memory alive, a group of local history lovers work to repair and preserve her tomb.
