BEHIND THE SCENES: VILLARS PALACE

Journalists have the opportunity to attend interesting and fun events and trips that may take us abroad. In our “Behind The Scenes” series, we show what journalists do during a press trip, as we did at Villars Palace.

1. Upon stepping into the hotel, we were greeted by large windows offering captivating views of the surrounding Alps.

2. We enjoyed delicious mocktails.

3. Inspirational quotes accompanied guests along the hallways.

4. A wonderful greeting awaited in the hotel room for both alcohol and non-alcohol drinkers.

5. A delightful activity of the traditional Swiss practice of Scherenschnitt with expert Yvette Rossier.

6. Original “The Adventures of Tintin” comics adorned the hotel.

7. We took the train right in front of Villars Palace to get to our hike.

8. We viewed the art piece by Saype in the mountains.

9. A beautiful goodbye with gorgeous views.

A huge thank you to Villars Alpine Resort, Villars Palace, Jean-Yves Blatt, Lucie Piron and Compresso for this wonderful stay! ✨

BEHIND THE SCENES: IL SERENO LAGO DI COMO

Journalists have the opportunity to attend interesting and fun events and trips that may take us abroad. In our “Behind The Scenes” series, we show what journalists do during a press trip, as we did at Il Sereno.

1. Editor-in-Chief Marina Haq at the shore of Lake Como.

2. Marina is driving the self-propelled boat Ernesto Riva, accompanied by Christina from New in Zurich.

3. Spotting the villa of American actor George Clooney.

4. Cheers to a wonderful evening with Negronis and No-gronis (without alcohol) 🙂

5. Surprise discovery: a 24-hour open pool – we enjoyed a midnight swim under the beautiful stars.

6. Work never stops, even on a beautiful press trip.

7. Cheers to a wonderful latte macchiato in the early hours of the day.

8. A final boat tour of Lago di Como.

9. Discovering the beautiful Villa Pliniana.
