Hi everyone, we have an important update on the future of Mynah.
Issue 4, which we are crowdfunding for, will officially mark the end of the publication. This has been an incredible journey for Team Mynah & we're devastated to see it end. We started almost 7 years ago with the vision of publishing an independent, longform magazine about Singapore, Singaporeans, and Singaporeanness—the untold stories that didn't but deserved to be read and seen.
We've worked with wonderful contributors since then, without whom the magazine would never have happened. As a publication, we've also stood by clear values since the beginning—editorial independence, fair remuneration & a teaching environment for new writers. We're proud of every issue that we've published & more proud that we've stuck by those principles to get there. Publishing in Singapore is a feat all on its own. It hasn't been an easy decision but we hope we can end with a bang, instead of a whimper.
We'll be hosting a launch party for our last issue on March 26th @ Love Handle (8 Ann Siang Hill), from 12pm-8pm. Come party, pick up your issues, lament, reminisce, eat, drink, and be entertained by the wildly talented folks who will perform.

And lastly, thank you. It sucks tremendously to have to end this, but we’re immensely grateful for the support we’ve gotten from readers since our inception. We couldn’t have done it without you and we hope you’ll stick around for this last chapter.
