Albinism Royal Foundation (ARF) is a grassroots organization focusing on the rights of persons with albinism in Sierra Leone. It is led by Sarah N’gaiwa, a lady living with albinism. ARF has been addressing the needs and advocating for the rights of persons with albinism in the country since 2018. ARF has recently embarked on programs that seek to strengthen the capacities of persons with albinism in income-generating activities, and to help amplify their voices amongst stakeholders through funding by Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada Fund for Innovation & Transformation, University of the Fraser Valley - UFV International. Here is their story.
