Cheers to the Dads! This Father’s Day, mix up this simple yet timeless cocktail to toast the special dad in your life!

Classic Old Fashioned
¡ 1 teaspoon sugar
¡ 3 dashes Angostura bitters
¡ 1 teaspoon water
¡ 2 ounces bourbon (or rye whiskey, if preferred)
¡ Garnish: orange twist

1. Add the sugar and bitters into a mixing glass, then add the water, and stir until the sugar is nearly dissolved.
2. Fill the mixing glass with ice, add the bourbon, and stir until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
4. Express the oil of an orange twist over the glass, then drop into the glass to garnish.

When it comes to anything technical- especially in the automotive industry, experience is everything. You can’t “fake it ‘til you make it” in the world of protecting valuable cars. Jurgen, the owner of has been in the automotive paint protection film (PPF) business for over 20 years. Conveniently located in Brentwood, Nashville ClearBra is Jurgen’s third store after Vancouver and Seattle. Jurgen moved to Nashville in November to set up his third shop, and in a very short time, he built one of the premier PPF application stores in Tennessee.

If you’re unfamiliar, paint protection film is a modern marvel. It’s a thin, nearly invisible thermoplastic urethane film that can be applied to portions of a car, such as just the front end, or to the entire car-even the windshield. PPF is the best protection you can buy for your vehicle. It protects the clear coat against chemicals, UV rays, and road debris. Think of it as a phone screen protector for your car. Adding PPF can save you heartache and thousands in repair bills.

This delicious Blackberry Margarita recipe from our friends at is a must have this summer!

- 2 shots Corrido Blanco Tequila
- 1 shot Blackberry syrup, store-bought or homemade
- 1 shot triple sec
- 1 ½ oz fresh Lime juice
- Black Salt for Rim

- Combine Tequila, blackberry syrup, Triple Sec, and lime juice in to a shaker cup.
- Shake well until very cold.
- Pour in to an old fashioned cocktail glass with ice.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and dried lime wheel.

Experience sophistication in a glass with a Pink Gimlet! 🍸

- 2 ounces All Points West Distillery Pink Peppercorn Cathouse Gin
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- Lime wheel or twist for garnish

Fill a shaker with ice cubes
Pour in the gin, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup
Shake well until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass
Garnish with a lime wheel or twist
Serve and enjoy your classic Gimlet cocktail!

Mother-daughter duo Carolyn Kalil and Katie Polenzani are the owners of Franklin’s French-inspired home and gift store, Belle Maison. While the pair have always had a love for French antiques and design, they decided to start a business together offering beautiful antique treasures in 2020, while Katie was still in college. A year later, the pair had already collected enough furniture, art, and home goods to fill an entire pop-up shop - just in time for the 2021 Christmas season. Thus, Belle Maison - translating to “beautiful home” - was born. Located in Cool Springs, they now have a 4,000-square-foot store filled with incredible French-inspired products, furniture, and décor.
