Gain of Funktion EP
This project was started in the beginning phases of covid 19 and the global lockdown that we all remember so well! The great toilet paper drought, the booze ban! Making Moonshine and the rise of legal cannabiz in South Africa 🤠 Also the rise of Illegal entjies , and the bedroom dj! Having more hash than to***co 😭 Anyway, super fun times, but I decided to leave social media indefinitely as it was serving my creative juices no sustenance...
However I did not stop making music, Instead I started to redefine my sound and challenge myself to make higher quality production that was not trying to copy cat any style or sound in particular but rather, fusing some old ideas and vibes that I had never quite managed to recreate or lay down over the years.
The style and sound, i feel is a bit more mature and less quirky than my previous releases, with more defined elements and a cleaner mix. The aim is to create a palletable sound for all walks of the psychedelic spectrum and its travelers, to connect the soul and mind in unison.
We drop a different bomb in the face of adversity and always in the name of peace and love.
