Oh, how I miss this place 😭 I've gone from capturing hundreds of photos every day for 3 months, to my camera collecting dust...I miss that feeling of being behind the lens and knowing I've just captured a beautiful shot. The photo that you know will even give yourself FOMO in years to come, because you're jealous of your past self being able to live that moment. That's exactly how I feel with these pictures now.

As the least sportiest person ever, I still find it quite funny that I ended up working Full Time in Rugby League....

But I had a lot of fun putting this video together for a paid Ad for the Bradford Bulls pre-season fixture against Leeds Rhinos. A lot of my videos that I create come from footage that I've shot myself, so this was a bit of a new one for me as I found myself sitting through HOURS of archive footage of the two rivals.

Interestingly, it wasn't the actual game of Rugby that I was focusing on when I was pulling all this archives apart, it was actually the pre-game sound bites and atmosphere that I really wanted to focus on. The reality of working in sport is, if I focus on the game itself, I'm only going to appeal to people that were already planning on buying tickets to the match anyway, cause these people are hardcore fans. But if I focus on the atmosphere and really generate my content to give people that "FOMO" feeling, I'm more likely to attract a whole new audience of people. And that's why you don't need to be a sport person in order to create content for a sports team 🤷‍♀️

As part of my Final Major Project at university, I produced a publication entitled "Empower". The whole project was based around female empowerment, and one of my favourite features was this one - "perfect bodies".

I'll find any excuse to get my iPad and pen out, and I had so much fun creating all of these digital illustrations. The aim was to bring comfort to other women and their views of their own bodies, as it did me and my own whilst I was drawing these... 💕

In the Summer of 2022, I spent 10 weeks at Camp Waukeela working as the Social Media Manager & Content Creator, and it's fair to say I absolutely LOVED it 💕

I pinpoint this job as the moment I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my career and really discovered my passion and flair for digital storytelling.

Here's a video that I produced after the season ended, when I was back in the UK (still working as their remote social media manager!). I created this from B-roll that I had collected over the Summer. The personal connection that I had with the counsellors, and campers, made filming content SO much easier, it really gave my content that natural, authentic feel - I like to think that personal connection is evident in this video...

When Toni reached out to me with the idea of following the Bradford Bulls Kit Team around for the day, I could see vision immediately. I knew exactly what the end outcome would look like, before I even started filming.
