Feelin’ Rhythm is back with the mad taleneted, Lis Sarroca. More about her below.

Lis Sarroca is someone we’ve been wanting to book for some time now. We are glad that we finally made it align for the night. The half Spanish, half Mexican artist will be sharing old and new sounds throughout the night for us to get our bodies movin’. She’ll be showing us for the night how she brings down the house in Europe. She regularly plays at House Of Love, Fabric (London), Sisyphos (Berlin) so expect a fun night of music.

As a producer she’s released on a lot of tunes on our favorite labels such as Hot Hause, Chiwax, Shall Not Fade, Maai Records and also has a track on Cinthie’s DJ Kicks Mix 🔥.

Jessie Calistri, Choopsie will be holding it down as support for the night while 323AM will be warming things up in the early evening.

A diverse selector and budding producer from Singapore’s Darker Than Wax label, Dexter C**t fuses a deep love for the most soulful sounds with booming machine workouts, raw disco cuts and sub bass pressure. A student of pirate radio and NYC club legends, his decade of experience behind the decks has created a distilled sonic signature built around deep selections and blistering technique. Aside from his role managing Darker Than Wax’s releases and label operations, he also hosts a monthly show on Bristol-based Noods Radio. Always on the hunt for lost cuts and new talents, Dexter C**t is a mainstay in the Singapore scene and a familiar face across Asia, having shared his sounds in Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, Beijing, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Bangkok, and Bali. Dexter C**t released his debut EP ‘Train Of Thought’ on Darker Than Wax in May 2023, with more projects on the way.

We are in for another edition of Feelin’ Rhythm. Graving us from Alabama, we’re thrilled to welcome back Byron The Aquarius to the city of LA for a night that doubles as the EP release party for Low Recordings upcoming vinyl , “Love 4 Music.” Byron, a virtuoso keys player, infuses his performances with an infectious enthusiasm for live frequencies. His deep-seated love for melody and harmony has consistently captured the attention of electronic music’s foremost labels and producers.

In 2015, Byron unveiled a ten-track solo album, “Planets of Love,” on BBE, showcasing his musical prowess. Collaborating with Kai Alce in the studio, Byron’s creations found their way into the hands of Theo Parrish, who recognized the sublime jazz-infected house sound. This led to the release of the acclaimed “Highlife EP” on Theo’s legendary Sound Signature label in 2016, described as “stunning,” “intoxicating,” and “essential.”

Over the years, Byron has maintained a remarkable level of musical output on labels like Wild Oats, Eglo Records, and more. In the past three years alone, he has released three LPs, starting with his debut album, “Astral Traveling,” on Mutual Intentions. The following year saw the release of “Ambrosia LP” on Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, and most recently, Byron dropped “The New Beginning LP” on the esteemed UK label Shall Not Fade & Fool’s Gold. His global presence extends to renowned festivals such as Dimensions, Dekmantel, Suncebeat, Lente Kabinet, All Points East, and numerous world-class clubs.

Saish K. is a designer, Radio host/DJ, and curator based out of Los Angeles, CA. He is also co-founder of Virtual Public Network .radio , a local online radio community of DJs and creators alike. His eclectic music selections can be heard bi-monthly on his show “Rhythm Box” on VPN Radio as well as on his radio segment, “Ethno Junction” via Sutro FM or even occasionally DJing around LA. Roll through for our second night as we welcome Seven Davis Jr. to our night. Seven Davis Jr is not just a singer, producer, and songwriter, but a force of musical nature. Growing up in Northern California, he honed his skills as a gospel and jazz singer, drawing inspiration from legends like Prince, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. Classical influences from Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, and Burt Bacharach further enriched his musical palette.

The transformative encounter with House music and Jungle during his teenage years in San Francisco’s electronic underground marked a pivotal moment, forever altering Seven Davis Jr’s life and sound.

His musical journey extends across prestigious labels such as Ninja Tune, Classic Music Co, Defected, Stonesthrow, and many more. Collaborating with luminaries like Honey Dijon, Four Tet, Hot Chip, Steve Spacek, Herbert, and John Cale, Seven Davis Jr has carved a distinct niche in the music realm. Join us as we delve into the sonic universe crafted by this maestro, where each note has a meaning, and the rhythm takes over.

“Tonight is the night” is what many people use for a special occasion. Most of the time it’s unwarranted and a bit silly. So we’ve decided to keep it chill and just let ya’ll know that our Anniversary Party is on this night. It’s been an awesome 6 years (does covid years count?). Getting to meet all of ya’ll, growing this community, and having the chance to musically expand as Low has been an exciting and fun path that we’ve been able to go down. Luckily we’re able to continue what we do and bring you music that we love to a fun and safe space in DTLA. One of our most successful parties pre-covid had to have been the J Rocc & Lefto Show! 🚨 @a.n.d.o.n.a.n.d.o.n - Midnight EP 🚨 Out now! Hit link in bio to get access to all places to support and listen. ⬆️ Beginning with a slew of successful nights across the city - Los Angeles label Low Recordings ready their next EP from hotly tipped California / Melbourne duo &on&on. Having released on Barcelona’s Simplexia Records - the pair have already been eyeballed by Mixmag in their 'Artist To Watch' in 2022 article as well as being included in the mighty Disclosure's DJ Kicks mix. With only a small amount of music out so far - it's already clear to see that the auspicious pair have a lot of quality music in the pipes - galvanising this suspicion is their latest offering 'Midnight': a 4-tracker which slots in neatly with the Low Recordings burgeoning catalogue. 'Los Angeles' kicks things off with a fizzing, kinetic jam which sets a neatly sequenced break under swooning pads and vocal snips that recall hay-day Hessle and Joy Oribison. Stuttered synth lines and whipping snares build towards a think, pitch-bent bass line which is guaranteed to send the floor into rapture. 'Hatch' then follows up with capacious, reverberated sweeps and some UK-swagger. A step as tight as the drums themselves propels a simple but effective bass line before more pupil widening synths thin and thicken, providing punctuation in a deftly sequenced dance tune. 'Dripping' sets it's intentions from the off with a Jungle-inspired roar, tricky scratching and MPC style sample stabs. Hats eventually swing in across a simple but technical tool before 'Don't Stop' and 'F**k That' bring things to a close with a pair of irresistible House bangers. Garage influence are still evident but the EPs conclusion is more 'straight up' than it's predecessors as it's consistent, thumping 4/4s keeps straight aimed right at the dance floor - an enlivening close to a varied and effective set of tracks. We are bringing Deep Sounds back to a Warehouse in LA. A lot of great events have been happening throughout our beautiful city of LA. Techno, Bass, Club, Disco, Tech, and Breaks are all currently flourishing. We've decided to take a step back and provide you all with something a bit deeper than usual, with kicks that dig deep below the surface. Luckily, Frank & Tony couldn't have been a better choice for this. Considering that they disbanded back in 2017, we thought that there would be no way of being able to hear this duo again.
