Our Story

I've come to believe that when an idea comes through us for expression, it's coming from a divine source and we shouldn't ignore it. I have been ignoring this dream for many years. Pushing it away, thinking, it is surely a pipe dream. But, the idea kept following me around, pestering me like a little child, wanting attention. I can't ignore this Child any more. Have heard of crazier, impossible dreams coming true for others. So... why Not Franklyn Studios!! ;) This is a huge process and undertaking! But, something inside me keeps prompting me to do this. Friend of mine once said, "Your pain pushes you, your Vision draws you... Trust your Vision!" So, that is what I am doing. He also told me that our Inner Compass Guides Us and Faith is the Substance of things yet Unseen. I loved that! So far, I've just been putting one foot in front of the other and much to my surprise, people are starting to come out of the woodwork to help and be a part of This is Amazing Development! Wow!! What if there really is something to this? What if this Dream is Born and Prospers now and the years to come!! If I live my life in Fear, (false evidence appearing real), it is wasted energy... I'd rather be a Martyr than a Darter... Absence of evidence is not Evidence of absence... In our dreams, there has to be an element of Blind Faith or non of us would even make it across the street! ;) Just before I started all of this, a dear friend of mine told me, “What ever I do... Aim High!” So, that is what I'm doing!! ______________________________________ From NASA to the Movie Industry, over the years, I've known people all over the world, at many levels of command, from top to bottom in the entertainment industry, real estate, legal, science, politics, government and other business developments. I want to bring them in to participate in the creation of the Franklyn Studios. To be established: Franklyn Studios. (A Film and Television Studio, Adventure Theme Park-Tourist Attraction, as well as a Local and Global Art & Educational Community, to be shared by the world) - Three part establishment consisting of: PART I - Film Studio - with Sound Stages, Production Offices, Equipment and Post Operatives for Pre, During and Post with assistance in Syndication for both local and distant film and television productions/projects/products. Kind of like a one stop shop, full package for the creation, filming and completion of television, film and other media projects including digital editing bays, motion capture, syndication assistance etc. ***Subject to change and expand as Ideas for Franklyn Studios Grow and Prosper*** PART II - Television, Film, Art, Technology and Animal Theme Park for people of all ages. Consisting of: 1 - Rides 2 - Tours 3 - Petting Zoo with Exotic and Domestic Rescues. 4 - Playground and childcare for babies, toddlers and pre-teens. 5 - From Medical to Technological (Exhibits of Up-And-Coming New Technologies for Interaction and Display). 6 - A Zero Gravity Chamber people can fly and float around in. 7 - Rock Climbing Wall. 8 - Display of Flight Models - original or replica's, of old fighter jets, rockets, satellites etc. that people and children can go around or inside, look around, take pictures and even interact with some of the equipment. 9 - Interactive Flight Simulators. 10 - A Combined Planetarium/Laserium/IMAX for Footage on Space Research, Various Histories of the World, Technological Discoveries and 3D or regular movies to to be viewed in. Including Laser shows. 11 - An Art Museum for Fine Art and Local Artist Displays. Including a children's museum. 12 - Mid size Auditorium for Performances and Question Answer Sessions: From Newbie to Famous Comedians, Musicians, Actors, Writers, Producers, Directors as well as Poets, Artists and other people involved with all aspects of Behind The Scenes, from Stunt People to Special Effects, to Grip and Lighting. 13 - Famous Restaurant. ***Subject to change and expand as Ideas for Franklyn Studios Grow and Prosper*** Everybody needs Compassion, Art, Humor, Physical and Intellectual Stimuli, to calm the savage beast ;) PART III - Film, Television, Art and Course Studies School - Catering to people of all ages, with learning programs for organizations for the blind, the handicapped, addiction recovery hospitals, institutions, recovery homes, emotionally challenged, work furlow, veterans, kids in the foster care system, orphans, refugees, rehabilitating homeless shelters, battered women shelters, cancer foundations and research, educational funding and scholarships for people of all ages, etc.

All of this funded by proceeds from the 3 divisions of Franklyn Studios, the Orange County Community, Surrounding Communities, Irvine Co. and many other Donors and Investors. We will have drives, fundraisers, KCET, Telethons etc. to raise money as well. ***Subject to change and expand as Ideas for Franklyn Studios Grow and Prosper*** Somebody told me I might just be crazy enough to make this Happen!! ;)
