My journey started in April of 2017. I had just gotten out of a 4 year relationship and decided that I had wasted so much time compromising on things that I wanted to do. So why not do it all!

First thing I did was m

ake a list of places around the world that I wanted to travel to. Then I made a list around the United States that I want to visit. Even though this seems so easy, making a list is a huge step. I realized that I had written down about 40 different countries and 15 different cities around the U.S. This was eye-opening. So here I go, attempting to share my stories and write about my experiences and hoping that it will be an inspiration to someone...somewhere. No pressure. :)

Oh, hi! Has it really been a month?! What the heck?! Okay, so here’s what’s been going on…

Firstly, I miss you guys!! And creating!

Secondly, I’ve been going all over the place. I’ve spent a lot of time in Switzerland this month, but haven’t really been in the mood to pose at breweries for photos. Honestly, most of my photos have me in them (the first photo at least), so I tell myself that if I can’t get one of me, it’s not worth it to take one and post it. Maybe I have to get over that? Meh.

Lastly, I’ve been struggling to find consistent work! I’m sure soooooo many people feel this right now. I’m a digital marketing consultant/freelancer, and have just had some experiences that I’m not happy with…professionally.

Anyway, I wanted to pop into your feeds (FINALLY) and say hi and hopefully see you all a lot more moving into summertime! Because…

Switzerland has the most breweries per capita than any other country…or something like that! 😜 🍻

I can’t get over this wall…honestly. NOLA breweries are so creative! Oh…and the beer is too 😉

When you first walk up to , you get that “comfy” “I’m in my friends backyard” kind of vibe. It’s really welcoming and the picnic tables are clutch. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the owner…and he’s ready to help you try and find the perfect beer for you. And trust me, there will be something! The beer I’m drinking is a Banana Cream Stout 🤤

Over all, it was a great experience. I highly suggest adding this one to your list.

A day on the town: NOLA edition. Oh, and all by my lonesome. 😌

This New Orleans brewery was on my list because of a few things. The reviews, the aesthetics, and the location! I wanted a walkable hop, so I went with this one first.

Not only are the vibes great, the place is pretty big and has a full bar…you know, for those people who don’t like beer. (We all have those friends). This place is perfect for a few drinks and they’re connected to a BBQ spot, ummmmm say less. Haha.

I definitely recommend stopping in. The Czech Pale Lager was pretty amazing, if you’re into those. If not, you should be.

No beer here…just tea. Mt. Fuji pic 👉

Woke up this morning thinking about my recent Japan trip. I actually kind of miss it! 9 days was just not enough time…I want to go back for a month!

Let me just tell you about the Tea Fields in Mt. Fuji. If you can’t make it to the town on the other side for that iconic view, take a cab ride from the train station to one of the local tea fields! (SOME REQUIRE A RESERVATION). I highly recommend doing this if you are doing a quick day trip or just stopping over for a few hours…which is what we did. Having tea with Mt Fuji in the background is not only beautiful, but extremely peaceful.

The beer is SOOO good, and the renovations…fire. A must-stop if you’re in SD. Plus, you can walk to like 10 breweries afterwards haha! Add it to your list for sure.

When in Colorado, go to Boulder because is there and you don’t want to miss it. 🙌🙌

Huge facility, great vibes, tasty beer…what more could you ask for?! Cheers to that.

It’s my birthday 🎉 !!!!

Having a birthday at the end of the year is great because you can reflect on both the year and your bday as a whole. Only downside…getting combined bday and Christmas presents 🤪

This last year has been quite an adventure. I traveled more than all of my life combined, met the love of my life, lost a job, tried beers in 9 different countries, decided to start a business, made some lifelong friendships, and so much more. I’m grateful to have been able to have such an incredible year of life and I’m so excited for the next one (and what’s coming next 🤗🍻)

This brewery is super cool and run by women! Next time you’re in Kyoto…go. The beer is legit and they have a good amount of styles to try. Trust me!

St. Pete seriously has some really awesome breweries and bars. I think I might’ve even fallen in love with this city! Green Bench Brewing is sooo cool and the beer is pretty epic too. Ever been??

Went to see the Goo Goo Dolls and O.A.R. in Clearwater, FL. The new venue () is EPIC. 😎🍻

If ever in Cooperstown, NY, make sure to do more than just the Baseball Hall of Fame! tasting room was SOOOOO good. So many types of liquors and the bartenders definitely know what they’re doing. It’s located in an old stationary shop, which is pretty cool…almost like a speakeasy.

Cheers to that one time I got to go get tons of content and drink epic beer for 2 days at Ommegang! Was I struggling because of the smoke from Canadian wildfires? Yes. Would I do it again? Yep!

Not gonna lie, this brewery was sooo cool. If I lived in Lisbon, this would be my spot to bring people who visit. 💯

Only thing on the agenda for day 2 in Porto…Port. 🍷

I went to Sandeman, but there are so many others to choose from. Save yourself some time though, most of them have the same distributor and owners, so the port with be the same at all of them. The only real reason to go to multiple is for the photos of the different facilities 😅.

💥Fun fact: All the Port wineries are actually not in Porto, they’re across the Dom Luís I bridge in Gaia! Still walkable and visible from Porto, but technically none are in Porto. Crazy right? It has to do with the fact that the sunlight is better on that side along with the soil.
