Actors in box me to participate.
Excited to participate in Script to Screen. My screenplay Waiting For Burial is one of the staged readings. It is the first episode in an anthology series Crystal Blue. Crystal Blue is a half-hour African American anthology series featuring stories of science-fiction, Horror, and Fantastic Racism in the vein of Black Mirror meets the Twilight Zone.

Waiting for Burial centers around Mrs. Patterson, a 72-year-old tetchy shut-in who, when authorities declare a mandatory evacuation for a killer storm headed straight for Muck City, Florida, chooses to stay and face death.

Reel Sisters and BRIC will present an exciting staged reading of scripts by filmmakers from our Summer Screenwriting Lab.

Happy Black Love Day! I am so grateful to Ms. Lorraine for all that she has done to pour into so many children for decades in my community. She did the real work in loving, guiding and motivating our children. Her program was wrapped in LOVE, caring, community building, and Black History. She made every child read books, show manners, and good character. Keep rising!

However, the powers would like to reduce her actions to just mental health issues and erase racism as a factor. Osaka took a strong stance against injustice in America. Instead, some in...
