9 a.m when I arrived at Claveria where some participants are still preparing, some kids, others adults guiding the kids. AFter about 30 minutes I proceeded to San Pedro to shoot the parade. You can't go near the parade anymore unlike before, where you can watch at the sidewalks. Maybe because of the tight security. Tighter than before. But it was awesome! Davao's getting better every year.

Walking tour Catalunan Grande's, Monte and Skyline.

I took a walk in a seminary near our place in Catalunan Grande. They call it St. Francis Semninary or Regional Major Seminary, the first and only seminary in Davao Region. According to the community section of fortunecity website: "The St. Francis was once a minor seminary which was built in 1955, and became occupied in 1956. It was named after the patron saint of the PME Society."

First time I saw this in a long time here at Anda where food stalls lined up at the side of the streets.

Meanwhile we will be walking through Davao city streets and some areas, barangays, slums, roads, etc... In the coming months we will be traveling and walking to different places in Davao Region, Mindanao, the Visayas and all parts of Luzon...and who knows, in South East Asia and other parts of the world.
