What better way to ease back into the content game than with a professionally drilled hole in a 3d printed sacrum. It'll still work for the intended project, and I also want said project out the door or the workshop because it has been hanging out there for years now. Next step will be to glue plastics together which is always a fun hit-or-miss thing.

From the Archives: another quick tip from back on the day, and looking back I'm not sure how useful it is, considering you could get close to the same result with a thin paintbrush. Nevertheless, there is always room for inspiration!

Check out this amazing painting technique! I use it to make a small logo to brand my Instagram pictures, but there is so much potential in this one! Please s...

From the Archives: I enjoy working with ShadowFoam. Using it for tools is all well and good, but there are more important things than tools, depending on who you ask. Check out this wand box, and be inspired either by the foam or the form factor.

When a wand is dropped and a challenge is received when none has been issued, you need a Wand Box. And what better material to safely contain the raw energy ...

This is a practical addition to any wardrobe that allows for such things to be added, but can easily be turned into something wall-mounted, too. Check it out, because winter is... Nobody says that anymore, do they?

Do you know the feeling? During the cold months the wardrobe is just overflowing with the warm stuff. With these simple extensions you can quickly remedy tha...

While my subscriber count is stagnating for years now (for which I chose to blame the Cult), I do indeed get very few dislikes on my videos. So it stands to reason that this one works rather well to this day.

While I do not much care for thumbs down, they offer a good excuse to make a play button that will keep them away, just like it would have the evil eye curse...

Not every video can be a full project. Some videos can also be about milking projects for more content to appease the algorithm. Of course, this is not one of those, but filled with interesting facts and lessons learned from the OSB solar system.

I learned some things making the OSB Solar System which I did not get to share with you since I chose to talk less in my main videos. So I vent that verbal p...

Remember when I made a Chess Set on the Spindle Sander? I did, and while the designs may not be very intricate or organic, I still like how they came out.

A spindle sander is neat to have, but it is more of a supporting tool, right? Well, in this video I make a set of chess pieces with only the spindle sander (...

From the Archives: some good ideas don't work out. But sometimes, they work well enough to warrant a video and get started, and they work well enough to build up unwarranted enthusiasm. But maybe they can also deliver some inspiration despite failing!

As promised, here comes the first follow-up video to go along with the projects of the Rauhnacht-Series. Enjoy, and remember to be Inspired!

I'll be the first to admit that this would have been way easier using a laser cutter. As such, I might revisit the project at some point, but using no light-based tools for it adds to the appeal of this one, don't you think?

Another project I enjoy revisiting, mainly due to the awesome work of . Conserving the scrolls in mint condition sure added to the challenge of this book, but what would epic spells be if not challenging?

What would you do if you had a stack of spell scrolls on hand? Make a spellbook, of course. This project took me quite a while, and I hope it will inspire yo...

From the Archives: If you like the Dragon Prince, you may have wondered whether you would chose to listen to a small slug-like being living behind your ear. Wonder no more! I have not worn it much since, but whenever I did, I had the greatest ideas.

From the Archives: Back when I was hosting the Challenge Tree, things tended to get out of hand in a good way. Not sure whether I will ever do it again - host, that is; I will get out of hand on a regular basis, thank you very much.

From the Archives: Frankly, I am not using this anymore since I switched table saws, but this is still the one shop upgrade that I enjoyed most. Not just because of the colors, but also because it worked as intended, and looks like it is ready to bite you.

I have recently made two improvements to my table saw that aim to improve dust collection, They are not perfect, but I am sure you can find ways to use the t...

Today I did some shop maintenance. Among other things, I placed the single stage dust thing (second image) into an old wooden barrel to use for non wood stuff, while relaxing it on my main bucket with a 3d printed two stage one. We'll see whether that works out, but I liked the theory this far.

From the Archives: After the marble dreamcatcher came out alright and better, I tried a different technique that at first glance should have been even better. It wasn't. Or maybe I wasn't?

From the Archives: This ranks as one of the more elaborate puns among my videos, and that's saying something. Also, do you need to make some thin round wood for whatever reason? Look no further.

From the Archives: This was a life-altering project. Not only did I turn OSB, which makes for a nice texture, but this also put me on the Cult's radar. Proverbially speaking, because they cannot afford radar. Check out the OSB Solar System

Inspired by a reply on Twitter I got the thought of making an OSB-based orrery stuck in my head. While that is not quite what I ended up making, I hope you e...

From the Archives: If you wanted proof that there were weird voiceovers before the Cult came along, look no further than "Horses on the Fence - Game On Edition". Full disclosure, as expected years exposed to the elements has not done them good,

From the Archives: As someone who owns a 3d printer to solve problems, I tend to forget how easy it is to do things with wood. There have been times where I would have tried to print something to do what this drill press dust extraction does naturally.

This is my shopmade solution for a dust extraction for the drill press. It is a really basic design, and maybe I will find meaningful ways to expand upon it,...

From the Archives: Fly me to the Moon! A runner up for the most beautiful thing I ever turned, this Tintin inspired moon rocket accent light fell victim to a child with a marker at some point, but it still urged you to take to the stars.

The moon has been a source of inspiration and dreams for long enough to warrant trying to get there - with a wooden rocket, of course. And just in case it do...

From the Archives: Let me be first to admit that this was a little cringe, but that is only more reason to share it again. You might see where the whole cult thing came from, although this is a distant relative to the awesomeness that is the Cult today.

First attempt at making something vaguely like a product. Stock owl on acrylic, stick in a cheap light thing (which can do the classic rgb things). Working on a few ideas to make this more interesting, while also diving deeper into the laser - at least that's the idea.

Also apologies for the lack of content recently. Between holidays, kids, and headspace issues, I didn't get much shop time recently. I am working on a video, and I have several ideas I wish I could would work on. Hope to bring you interesting things, and thankful for your support!

From the Archives: This has to be one of my more complicated turning projects, and I'm happy to say it worked great. Only downside is that you can only fool someone once, but then again, fooling people is not the point of the turned Pythagorean Goblet.

From the Archives: I wonder what the Cult would have had to say about this kind of project. Simple, colorful, and, worse, without any Cult involvement. It's Weaving Wood - Trivets, Wall Art & more!

From the Archives: It has been a few years, but did welding back then! Not the kind I'd brag about, but it kinda workes, at least in the context. Admittedly, it never was a good sickle, but it was special.

From the Archives: this is probably the most useful length of plastic pipe I ever added to my shop - at least outside of my dust extraction. It has seen a lot of continued use, and is still in my shop to this day!

From the Archives: the Pallet-Kitchen was not only made from upcycled material, it also stood the test of time - yes, it is still around, and even sees occasional use! That's worth checking our, right?

From the archives: The Cult and the Matchmaker, one of the POV response video responses that the Cultists did. There are still some I want to make, but while they are tremendous fun to write, they are hard to record for some reason. Eventually.

From the archives: A Swedish Torch is a good way to get rid of surplus wood that cannot be used for any other project, while simultaneously give some ambient - outside only, of course. I'll be a link to the original beam lantern videos eventually.

After I scrapped a first design of the Beam Lanterns to go for the table saw instead, I decided to still put the scrap piece to good use. Enjoy, and remember...
