I started this page after building a following during the 2015 flood of the Red River in the Arklatexoma Area. That page, Red River Flooding 2015: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, developed a following of 7,000+ people. I began Arklatexoma Severe Weather as a channel for me to cover more broad meteorological topics concerning our area and to help in the process of information dissemination in

hopes that it might make a difference in someone's life. I then decided to create a website which would allow me to produce more detailed post and articles and allow for me to produce links to valuable weather resources that are scattered online. "Keeping you aware of what's out there."
