Today, I uploaded the final podcast for The Battlehosts. It's something I've been thinking about for a while now. Whenever I see my recording equipment sit in the corner gathering dust, I feel like I should do SOMETHING with it, but the effort to publish a podcast that meets the quality I expect of myself has not seemed worth it. Rather than keep pushing content out of habit, I decided it was time to end while I feel like I'm ahead.
Life gets busy, and sometimes you have to let go of things in order to focus on what is important. It's been a lot of fun and I've met some amazing people and I did all the things I set out to do when I first started. Creating content really does have an expiration date, so I join the many other podcasts over the years that have ended.
I am still playing 40K, still building and painting, still going to events, and still meeting and talking with gamers and hobbyists. I don't know when I'll stop being part of the community, but that will be a long time from now I suspect. If you are headed to LVO this year and you want to meet up let me know! The community really is the best part of the hobby.
