I am trying a new product to me to prevent Japanese Beatles 🪲from eating my roses and fruit trees. 🌳 Last year these were the only plants that I noticed them wanting to eat so hopefully this will help!
The rain and birds are beautiful this morning! This is the sound straight from my phone. It is glorious!

I was so excited to find this little patio peach tree 🍑 @loweshomeimprovement the other day! I have been obsessed with them since I saw Laura @gardenanswer plant one several years ago and then I recently saw @growformegardening’s patio peach tree. I can’t wait to see all of the flowers 🌸 bloom this spring!

When creating my new cottage garden I used the @canva app. It was super easy to use.
1. I saved the images to my phone.
2. Imported the images into Canva.
3. Removed the background for each image.
4. Took a picture of my space and saved it into Canva.
5. Used the Instagram post size.
6. The background is the saved picture of my space.
7. The plants are the images that I saved and removed the background.
It was super easy to use and makes visualization so much easier!

🌱 Embrace the Beauty of Tender New Growth in Winter! 🌱
Are you a gardening enthusiast looking for a way to protect and nurture your bulbs during the winter season? Look no further! We’ll explore why it’s the perfect time to cover the tender new growth of bulbs that are trying to emerge in the winter.
❄️ Winter can be a challenging time for bulbs as they face cold temperatures and potential frost. But here’s the secret: by providing them with a protective covering, you can ensure their survival and encourage healthy growth when spring arrives!
🧤 Imagine a cozy blanket for your bulbs. By covering them with mulch or a layer of straw, you create a shield against the harsh winter elements. This insulation helps regulate soil temperature, preventing freezing and thawing cycles that can damage the delicate new shoots.
🌬️ Moreover, covering your bulbs helps retain moisture in the soil, keeping the roots hydrated and reducing the risk of dehydration during dry winter spells. It’s like giving them a drink of water when they need it most!
🌞 And the best part? When spring finally arrives, your bulbs will burst forth with vibrant colors and lush foliage, ready to dazzle your garden with their beauty. By taking this simple step now, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning display that will make all your hard work worth it.
So, let’s embrace the magic of winter gardening and give our bulbs the love and protection they deserve. Join me to learn more about the art of covering tender new growth and creating the perfect environment for your bulbs to thrive. Together, let’s nurture the beauty that lies beneath the winter frost! ❄️🌱💚

So we have finally made it to fall! And you know what that means for hosta leaves. 🍃 They turn into a mushy and squishy mess. I found a beautiful selection of hostas on sell at Lowe’s for 50% off. This one plant ended up having 5 crowns 👑! It does look cruel to chop off the beautiful leaves but they will die back anyway. This will help the plant focus on root growth this fall and winter. I hope this inspires you to get some hostas and chop their leaves 🍃 off this fall! #hostas #gardening #chopofftheleaves #lowesclearance #lowes #fallcleanup
