Social Media Week New York Social Media Week New York ( ) celebrates its 10th annual conference in 2018.

SMWNYC exists to help professionals advance themselves and their businesses by providing information, insights, best practices and emerging trends on technology’s impact on communication. To mark the occasion we are launching a new global edition of the conference which will now take place in New York City during the week of April 22-27. SMWNYC 2018 will be a celebration of human connectivity and

the power that technology provides in bringing the world closer together. The New York conference will serve as the centerpiece to this celebration, bringing together thousands of industry professionals from all over the world. Participants will come together to share ideas, inspiration and best practices for how social media can be used to transform how we do business, how we think about the world around us and how it can shape culture and the human experience.

Social Media Week New York 2019 took place April 30 – May 2, 2019 at the Sheraton Times Square Hotel and focused on the 2019 global theme “STORIES: With Great Influence, Comes Great Responsibility“.

Social media is at a critical moment. Many fear that we have already failed as an industry, allowing it to distort our realities and divide us. That can change: We can work together to be more truthful and real in our content, our communication, and with our connections. Learn more.
