HCTV Horn Cable Television is the leading private television station in Somaliland. Horn cable TV has its headquarters at Hargeisa, Somaliland.

It was founded in 2003 in response to a great need for an independent media house which was necessary to monitor and report on the new developments. The circumstances at the time made it extremely difficult for foreign journalists to work in the region.
