Das zweite Studioalbum der Wiener Band Manic Youth trägt den Titel „Funland“ (SISSI Records). Diverse Lockdown-Zustände, Begegnungen mit morschen Menschen und einige fatal-fragile Fallen haben DONGSU SUH, MAX ZAMERNIK, MORITZ RAUTER und LEON TRUSCHNER zu zwölf Tracks irgendwo zwischen Shoegaze, Metal und Indie-Pop inspiriert. Clemens Engert sprach mit Schlagzeuger MORITZ RAUTER über „Genre-Schleuderei“, den subtilen Widerspruch und ein Syndrom namens „Shinitching“.
