AD| Thinking of visiting California? Fly British Airways into San Francisco International Airport (SFO), just south of the city in the Bay Area, or San Jose International Airport (SJC), in the heart of Silicon Valley. Whatever you decide, you’ll have easy direct access to some of the best that California has to offer.

>>San Francisco’s culture and foodie scene
>>Tech tourism (Facebook, Apple, Google) and wineries
>>Santa Cruz and its sandy beaches is just 30 minutes south of San Jose.
>>Theme parks and water slides
>>Monterey and its famous Aquarium & Fisherman’s Wharf

But most of all there is almost guaranteed sunshine! BritMums co-founder Susanna, a California native, has loads of suggestions of things to do.

Which airport?
Both airports are great for enjoying loads of things around the state like things from our list above.

San Francisco (SFO) is a bigger airport with lots more international flights and just 13 miles south of the city itself -- great if you’re taking in the Golden Gate Bridge, its iconic cable cars, Alcatraz and more, as well as travelling further afield.

San Jose (SJC) is smaller, often with just one flight going through customs, and a great starting point for a Highway 1 trip driving tour to Los Angeles or San Diego.

I often ask a significant question to my clients when coaching; ‘what can you do to help you deal with the emotional challenge as well as the practical challenge of what you want to achieve?’ This is a big question, but often helps find clarity, and I feel it’s quite apt in this scenario. Below are some top tips from both an emotional and practical perspective for Mum’s looking to return to the workplace.https://www.britmums.com/10-tips-for-mums-looking-to-return-to-the-workplace/
