Kia India has unveiled the pricing for its new EV6, starting at INR 65.9 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, Pan India).

What’s new about the EV6 compared to the old one?

The front of the new EV6 has a slight update. The headlights have a different look with a connected DRL, and there’s a slight change to the car’s chin.

The rear of the car stays mostly the same, except for a slight change to the lower section of the rear bumper and the elements of the rear lamps. The shape of the rear lamps remains the same.

In the interior, the new EV6 features a new steering wheel shape, a fingerprint sensor, a touch panel for climate control with rotary k***s, and the removal of all the piano black trims.

It also gets 5 additional ADAS features, a bigger 84 kWh battery as compared to the older 77 kWh along with a 650 km claimed range and power figures of 320 hp and 605 nm.

Aston Martin’s Vanquish has arrived on the shores of India and will be sold in limited numbers as the production numbers are limited to 1000 units globally.

The Vanquish replaces the DBS Superleggera as the biggest and most powerful GT car of the brand with figures of a whopping 835 hp and 1000 nm of tyre shredding torque from its 5.2L front mid mounted twin-turbo V12 motor under a hood that is made out of carbon fibre to keep things light.

Transferring all this power way back to the rear wheels is the ZF sourced 8 speed unit and to manage the power well there is also an electric diff present in the rear!

Kia India registered total sales of 25026 units, marking a 23.8% year-on-year increase compared to the 20200 units sold in February last year.

With over 20000 bookings, the recently launched Kia Syros registered strong sales of 5425 units in February. The company’s bestselling models, Sonet and Seltos contributed significantly to overall sales with 7598 and 6446 units and the Carens with 5318 units dispatched, while the Kia Carnival Limousine achieved 239 units.

In addition to its domestic success, Kia India’s presence in global markets is progressively mounting, with 2042 units of its ‘Made in India’ vehicles exported to over 70 international destinations.

Kia India’s Syros has received over 20,163 bookings and has witnessed the customers preference towards the petrol powered engine with 67% of the total bookings, the remaining 33% customers opted for the diesel engines and 46% of buyers overall inclined towards owning the top variants.
