Raise your hand if you love pastéis de nata 🙌 Lisbon has many great spots to get these well known Portuguese sweet treats, but one of my favorites is @fabricadanata in Restauradores 💙 You can watch the pastéis de nata being made fresh daily, right in front of you, and the room in the back with its beautiful blue tiles adds a special touch. Here are some things to do in Dubrovnik 🫶: 🩵 Walk the City Walls, with amazing views of the Old Town and Adriatic Sea. If you’re visiting during summer, I recommend going for stroll along the ancient city walls early in the morning as it gets quite busy and hot, since there’s barely any shade. The city walls open daily from 8 am to 7:30 pm. You can buy the tickets online or in their ticket office. 🩵 Explore the Old Town and wander through the cobblestone streets of this UNESCO World Heritage site. If you are a fan of Game of Thrones, then you’ll recognise some of the filming locations. 🩵 Ride the Dubrovnik Cable Car. Go up to the top of Mount Srd for breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The sunsets are incredible and during Summer, the Cable Car operates until midnight. Do not recommend if you are afraid of heights! 🩵 Go to the Beach: Relax at one of the beaches located just outside the city walls, and enjoy the clear turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. 🩵 Stop by Buza Bar for a sunset drink and swim in this bar built into the cliffs outside the city walls. 🩵 Try the tradicional cuisine and enjoy traditional dishes at local restaurants, such as the fresh seafood at @posat_dubrovnik This was my second time in The Pearl of the Adriatic and loved it even more! 10 Things to do in Cappadocia: - Visit @sultan_carpets in Göreme for authentic handmade carpets and try on traditional dresses - Visit the Kaymakli Underground City, with multiple floors down, carved tunnels and rooms, and that was once populated by thousands of people hiding from the enemy. Currently, only a fraction of this large underground city is open to the public. (Do not recommend if you feel uneasy in tight spaces). - Visit Uçhisar Kalesi (Castle), a metres-high rock formation with numerous rooms and passageways which served as residential areas and are now blocked. You can visit the Castle and enjoy the beautiful views. - Stop by Güray Pottery Museum for a pottery workshop and some shopping of authentic and handmade ceramics. - If you fancy doing a photoshoot with a vintage car with fairy chimneys in the background, @arik_photoart and @fms_filmmaker are your guys. - Enjoy the beautiful natural rock formations at Göreme National Park. - Eat the most delicious local food at @gorgolilounge. Other places to eat: @museumhotel, @therevithia, Ziggy Café and Restaurant in Ürgüp and @kadineli_restoran. If you fancy some wine, stop by @kocabagwines, for a local wine tasting. - Visit Göreme Open Air Museum - this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a valley with rock-carved churches with beautiful frescoes and home to monks. - Visit Pasabag Valley, a beautiful place to see Fairy Chimneys. Fairy Chimneys or Hoodoos, are tall rock formations formed by erosion. - And finally, you must go on a Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride. You must be prepared for an early start but it’s so worth it!
