Cleaning out the diesel tanks...Showered in diesel 🤪

A catch up post that got lost in the shuffle of poor internet speeds and weak wifi found along the way. This was a worrying crossing of the Mona passage. The deep trenches off Puerto Rico pass between the shallow water of the DR and PR. With contrary wind conditions the waves are unmanageable and very uncomfortable adding many hours and lots of tacks to a crossing.

OMG...A nice start turned into a hike from hell. The administrators of the Land and Sea Park should make visitors aware that the trails are poorly marked. We spent a couple hours bushwacking over razor sharp coral through dense bush to find trails. OMG...a very tough day in paradise...it's not always sunsets and sundowners.... The administrators of Warderick Wells Cay need to make people aware that the trails are dangerously poorly marked. I consider myself capable of extreme hikes but this was ridiculous.
