Recently we have been interested in purchasing several feed products for birds. And one of them is the Versele Laga Prestige Loro Parque. The first time we bought this product, and the first time these cockatiels were fed this product.

In short, we are trying to reduce the number of insects on the surface of the cage floor, as well as making the seeds that fall below germinate, and the lovebirds can eat them. Photos!!! First time lovebirds try Vitakraft African Small Parrot Food.

In this package I get a fairly varied mixture of seeds and grains. As far as I remember, there was white millet, red millet, black millet, rice grain, black sunflower seeds, niger seeds, a few oat seeds without skin, a little buckwheat, there were maybe linseeds, there were also canary seeds. Meanwhile, there are slices of banana and also dates. And some are shaped like pellets, maybe they are some kind of egg food? I didn't read all the ingredients on this package. This product has a strong smell, and it seems to smell like dates, and also a little banana smell.

Two adult lovebirds, one is green and the other is olive. These two lovebirds can be said to be hybrid lovebirds, namely a cross between the genes of Agapornis personatus and Agapornis fischeri. This can be seen in the color of their heads which is dark but slightly brownish/red/orange. We put several nest boxes back into this cage. With a little hope, these old lovebirds are interested in breeding again. We put small slices of wood as the base of this nest box. After that, we put some dry pine leaves on top so that the lovebird eggs wouldn't be buried in a pile of wood chips, and if the eggs hatched then the lovebird chicks would have a safe base to exercise the strength of their legs.
