Having a fat nostalgia trip looking back on old memories when myself, and went to get some bangers in Japan. 🇯🇵 99% of these photos were taken by Mike of COURSE.
PS. This is probably going to be the only post you’ll ever see of a white dude in a Kimono with a cap.
Really excited as to where life will take us all next. Where should the next adventure be?

Quick tip on portraits, some people think that shooting a wide aperture is best because of the bokeh, but when you do more close up shots and you want to get more details of the model, it’s actually useful to increase the aperture a little bit. For this photo I could have shot it at f/1.4 however I chose f/2 for this very reason 😁

When I was a kid I grew up listening to . I was on a walk one day when emailed me to say he was the videographer for and they were touring Australia, coming to Melbourne (where I live!!)
He asked me if I’d like to do a photo battle with the band on the day they were performing at the concert. So of course, I was like, ‘AH YEAH.’
Let’s start this shoot of with a BAND and hopefully a few BANGERS 📸

What do you fear?
The highlight of my year in 2023, and my whole life really, is being saved by Jesus.
People pleasing in hopes people will accept me is my kryptonite. Even talking openly about my faith has been hard for me lately because I’m worried about what others may think, but I’ve always valued authenticity over people pleasing so it’s something I just need to accept.

Matthew 6:24-26 Amplified Bible (AMP)
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].

I find the more I push through these insecurities with the guidance of God, the more courageous I’m becoming. So let’s make 2024 a year not to please others in order to save face, or to let other fears hold us back, but to focus on serving something bigger than you with love. 📸🙏🏼
