🤍 Campers welcome to more BTS of our upcoming Wheels of Steel Issue and show love to new Campette .y 🤍 I couldn’t wait to share this makeup and hair sneak because look at this face!!! The inspiration was a look (we shot this right before Pat broke the internet with her gloss face) from a Dior 2009 runway Pat did and I adore how it turned out with my team adjusting just so that it was right for the set. This day was… special. Not only did we battle the weather every day upcoming so that it was incredible hard to plan (this pearl look was actually my backup look) but team was dealt with a personal blow right before we started shooting. And while proofing this set brought me to actual tears it’s so beautiful, it’s the team, the talented and other worldly people I get to work with that make me feel eternally grateful 🤍 If you want the info on when this issue drops, sign up to our news letter at the web site! 🤍

It’s official! We have been kind of secretly shooting the whole upcoming Wheels of Steel issue and it is now fully wrapped on set! And since I’m finally seeing the light of day after this massive shipping delay, it means you Campers get to start seeing all the light of BTS fun for this issue coming up featuring Campettes with all kinds of wheels. First up had to be the first set we shot for this issue, the one, the only, fulfilling all our BMovie dreams and when I tell you her shots are breathtaking… I MEAN IT! They look like actual vintage movie painted posters! 🥀RIP 🥀 When I was 20 I stood in line on 4th street in Long Beach to have her and a few of my other favorite pinups sign my copy of pinup book. I had gone to a stylist and received a terrible victory roll hairstyle. I was so nervous because I was just in awe of the pinups, the photography, their MUAH. But hugged me and said I looked great. To me, they were the coolest. was also there without me knowing it and she would later photograph me, become my dear friend and one of the first photographers to take a chance on my magazine when I told her the idea. Most thought it was ridiculous and pinup was out.
Over the years I would run into on photo shoots together, backstage at fashion shows and she would always come say hi to me with a huge smile on her face when I was hosting. When she contacted me about coming to shoot for Camp Out, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. My mind was blown that a pinup model that influenced me so much was going to be on the cover and in the pages of my tiny rag. This shot is from her cover shoot for Issue 5 which she of course effortlessly nailed. Thank you for the kindness. Teaching me the importance of toe points, finger placement and making me fall in love with ankles. For the years of inspiration and smiles 🥀

🗓️Temporary post! 🗓️ Campers!! Our cover Campette & Miss April of our 2024 X-Large, vintage garage style calendar just got a little better because she is doing us a solid and signing some!! So right now, if you order one of the last copies of the calendar, yours will come signed by the cover girl herself!! Calendar does not include this great bikini lol Estimated shipping on these presale calendars are the first & second week of January! They are limitedddd so if you want one, hurry! Plus we picked this cover because , Me and Kelly of loved it! But we listened to everyone else too and ran the full image as one full page as the last page in your calendar so can leave it up as a mini poster when you are done 🗓️

Our extra large sized, 2024 Calendar is dropping this Friday December 1st at 9am alongside the full Camp TV release (new issue, first ever magnet set, first ever wrapping paper) and I’m so excited for y’all to hang this on your wall! 🔔 It features some never before film images even of one of my favorite Campettes on the cover & inside! 🔔 I’m printing a super limited amount this year because I’m redoing our content schedule so that everything is well padded for its releases next year so I’m already onto other projects… So if you want this calendar, reserve it Friday ASAP! 🔔
