@the_breadstik it really pains me to admit that you maybe onto the next generation of what music is going to be like this decade. ⠀ ⠀ the 2010s gave birth to mumble rap and it seems the 20s are now going to give birth to ad-lib rap. Just when you thought the bar couldn’t be set any lower am I right? ⠀ ⠀ This record here is kinda like those old brick cell phones from back in the 80s, the concept is there, but the product is not refined enough yet to sell. ⠀ ⠀ I feel if a more promenade act hopped on this wave they’d be pretty successful at it. You however, are not going to be the ones to take this mainstream, this song was horrible. ⠀ ⠀ The beat was whack, and your ad-libs were even worse. Nick Visco’s Hip-Hop Shop Story

Whats up family?! I am Nick Visco, a recent graduate of William Paterson University. During my time in school, I studied radio and television in hopes to take my media dreams to the next level. I participated at my college radio station where I earned my spot on the air to both host and produce my own show called, Nick Visco’s Hip Hop Shop.

Nick Visco’s Hip Hop Shop is a place where all talent is welcome in showcasing their underground music that wouldn’t normally get a look from the mainstream world. During my time in school, I had the privilege in conducting various interviews with both local artists and industry heavy weights such as, Charlemagne Tha God, PnB Rock, Lil U*i Vert, DJ Envy and the cast of Shoboy in the Morning on 92.3 AMP Radio.

Over the last year, things have been tough in trying to find a full time position in the field. It forced me to think outside the box and figure out another way to attain my dream. During this time I accepted the fact that I had to be present on all social media platforms, including Facebook, IG, Twitch & Youtube where Nick Visco’s Hip-Hop Shop was born! On the show, my viewers submit their original music to my email at [email protected] in order to be featured on my show.

If played, both myself and the live audience rates the song on a scale from 1-5. Really bad records get “The Blanket” and awesome records receive “BOOPY MUZEEK”. These terms help in giving the show its own unique twist and sets it apart from the rest.
