Buzzing to see Jonny3snareS - Signal Drive in the ‘Staff Picks’ section of DJ Mag this month!

Preorders for the limited YELLOW version (80 copies only) go live tomorrow morning at 9:09 UK (GMT).

In a slight change of plan all available copies will be on the MOYBASSMUSIC Bandcamp page, BUT EU orders will be despatched direct from UTR to reduce costs and limit customs hassle (this was the fairest way of doing it).

(Digital will be added for all Bandcamp purchases once the record is properly released/despatched.)

Morning folks, got some great news to share with you 😃

Test pressings for 'Jonny3snareS - Signal Drive EP' arrived at the end of last week and sound... INCREDIBLE! Jonny's glorious melodies and synth work have translated to vinyl incredibly well, the EP is a Braindance masterpiece - needless to say the pressing has been approved, and given the go-ahead for production.

With that in mind I am buzzing to let you know that pre-orders for the limited yellow vinyl will go live this Friday 303, and dispatched March/April - we will keep you posted.

(UK/ROW copies will be available on the MOY Bandcamp, and EU customers should be able to order direct from the UTR Bandcamp to keep postage issues to a minimum.)

Production wiz Jonny3snareS continues Cornwall’s grand tradition of esoteric and emotive electronics with the ‘Signal Drive’ EP.

On ‘Signal Drive’ itself, lush analogue synth tones drift over crisp electro beats and acidic bass, while the gorgeous and bittersweet ‘Recovery2’ has a melody for the ages and a snaking bassline that weaves between cowbell hits and intricate drum machine rhythms. ‘Scramble’ mixes a braindance arrangement with funked up 303s.

On the B side, label boss MOY steps up to give the title track a dance floor friendly, break-driven remix, with snarling electroid bass and acid lines. ‘Oh Nein’, meanwhile, is a speedy 4/4 excursion, both contemplative and psychedelic, and ‘Back2’ closes the EP with echoic pads and a bleeping, circuitous lead, rounding out another exceptional release from the burgeoning Dynamics Of Acid label.

Absolutely made up to discover electronic music bastion Afrodeutsche played the Zodiac Childs remix of Ratufa on BBC Radio 6 Music!

(Having been a massive fan since they delivered a mind blowing set after Aphex at the Printworks in 2019, this is really such an encouraging event for the label, and everyone involved 💜)

On the second EP for his Dynamics Of Acid label, acid aficionado MOY - fresh from releases on Nocta Numerica and Batrachian - teams up with the mysterious Zodiac Childs for a feast of shredded breaks, electro melodies and moody atmospheres.

On the A-side, MOY’s ‘Ratufa’ mixes euphoric pianos, hardcore drums and glowering bass with a side order of 303, while Zodiac Childs ups the intensity with a remix that adds ascending arpeggios and gigantic rave stabs to light up the dance.

On the B-side, Zodiac Childs offers up the smouldering break chops and cavernous bass bleeps of ‘Overstep’, before flipping into acid madness halfway through. Finally, MOY’s version threads serpentine sulphuric tones through an intricate melodic arrangement and a dusty hip-hop drum loop.

It all adds up to a jaw-dropping release from two of the hottest names in the electronic underground.
