Evening prayer
Thank you, Lord, for opening my eyes to your wonderful plan for my salvation. Thank you for being my life, my strength, and my joy. Thank you for your grace, which can always help me become more like you. Have your way with me, and make me into your faithful servant. Open my eyes that I may see more of your glory. Open my ears that I may hear and listen more deeply. Come and accept my life as I offer myself to you. Lord, I give my life to you - my past, my present, and my future. I hand my challenges and trials over to you. I believe that you have a perfect plan, and I trust in your providence. Give me the grace to believe that you will fulfill all your promises in my life. Give me the courage to accept all that you do to make me into a new creation. May I never settle for less than everything that you want to give me. Holy Spirit, your wisdom is beyond my imagining. Expand my capacity to know you and follow your plans for my life. Give me the courage to walk in the path you have set out for me. Help me to stand firm in the life you have given me and hold fast to your truth. May I follow you and put you first each day.All these and other necessaries we ask through Christ Our Lord.Amen.
