The other day marked 444 days of being alcohol free

💚💚💚💚

I had a dream of my previous self. My alcohol-induced self.

I saw her standing beside a still train, and she was pretty lit up.

She came up to me, enthusiastically. She placed her arm around me, and in her drunken slur said, “oh my gahhdd it’s youu! I knew I’d see you here!”

I looked at her, with compassion and sadness.

I told her we had to say goodbye. I began to sob.

Although she had been the reason for much chaos and sabotage in my life, I loved her.

She was a protector.

She helped me not feel so much.

She helped me forget deep seated pain.

She helped me stay numb.

She looked at me with sadness, yet with understanding and said, “awww that’s okayyyy! We had some good times. I’ll miss youuu!”

We held each other in front of that train, both with tears.

The train whistle blew.

She hopped on the train, and she looked back at me. We waved goodbye.

And I walked on without her.

For so long I despised my previous self. I judged her. Blamed her. Shamed her.

But when I saw her in my dream, something shifted in me. I understood why she was there in my life during that time.

She was there to protect pieces of me I wasn’t ready to heal yet.

As you move through healing, you’ll reflect on previous parts of yourself. It’s easy to judge those parts.

We often create versions of ourselves sometimes to protect us from feeling pain. And that’s okay.

Placing love on the protective parts of us and releasing them is soooo incredibly freeing.

It is such a powerful act of self-love.

I hope this dream I shared can support you in some way. I know it changed a lot of things for me 💚🌿

Whyyyyte fascism & major religious patriarchal indoctrination is killing EVERYONE on this planet in multiple ways & avenues because it dehumanizes through capitalism.

This evil seeps into all of the fabric in our society. As well as all of the decisions that our privileged leaders make. You must actively think in every situation who is the oppressed and who is being oppressed. Once you open your eyes to the devices that keep oppression in place you can’t unsee it anymore. In order to understand oppression you must understand racism & its mechanisms.

Do better people! It’s 2023 google can give you all the information in the world if you wished to not be ignorant. Read history and educate yourself on the oppressed indigenous people of the world & who has benefited from their genocide. Read about indigenous sovereignty and peacemakers because it is what democracy is based off of here in the Americas.

I invite people to see a world with no religion, no violence, no murder, no war, no r**e, no hunger. DO IT NOW and call for PEACE. Indigenous knowledge, culture & wisdom will always lead us forward.

Miss Bullock was thee queen of rock and roll for multiple eras, in addition to being an actress, world traveler, fashionista, writer, composer, record breaker and muse. A literal ICON

She also happened to write one of my favorite spiritual life saving texts, I was so moved by this book it almost made me become a Buddhist.
I actually ended multiple Buddhist meetings over zoom, I was so serious.

I read this book in less than a day back in 2020 and randomly flip through it sometimes as a form of resetting.
It’s powerful and deep!!
