Taylor Momsen has reflected on the experience of performing with Soundgarden at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction to honour the late Chris Cornell.

Speaking on the Zach Sang Show, she talked openly about how much the moment meant to her, saying:

“First of all, I don’t know if you guys know, but I love Soundgarden. So, to be there with them and to help them celebrate, and I’m so honoured and thankful and so prideful for them. Like, I am so proud of them and so happy for them that I cannot even put it into words. The whole evening was insane and emotional, and the weight of it was certainly not lost on me at all, but it was beautiful, and it’s so well deserved.”

When asked whether she would ever consider stepping in for a reunion tour, she made her feelings clear, saying:

“I think that they are a force unto themselves that is unlike anyone else. They are some of my closest friends. I love them to death. And the reality is, I’m here for anything they want or need. Like if they call me, I’m there. It’s that simple.”

There are currently no confirmed plans for Soundgarden to tour again. The band are currently working on releasing their new album featuring vocals from the late Chris Cornell.

Bassist Ben Shepherd recently spoke to Bass Magazine about the emotional weight of completing Soundgarden’s final recordings, stating:

"The other day it dawned on me again, on a deeper level, that the minute we’re done with this record and the minute I play my final note on it, does that mean we’re never going to do it again? What does this mean? Without Chris, we aren’t Soundgarden. Who knows, maybe selfishly we’ll just keep tracking the record so that we can keep working on it and preserving the moment in time.”

Evanescence has announced they will be embarking on a world tour in 2026 with support from Spiritbox, Poppy, Nova Twins and K.Flay.

Speaking about the tour, Evanescence stated:

"We are thrilled to be bringing out such a variety of our favorite artists and can’t wait to get onstage with them (and an album of new music to play, coming soon)! Tour Presale starts tomorrow at 12pm local, so head to our website then for early access ahead of the on-sale on Friday."

Download Festival has officially confirmed that Germany's Scooter will be performing at the festival in 2026, set to headline the Avalanche Stage.

Headlined by Limp Bizkit, Guns N' Roses and Linkin Park, Download will take place from 10-14 June 2026 at Donington Park, Leicestershire.
