First swim in the creek of the year, walked under the new bridge for the first time.

Wishing a very happy national pet day to this little guy. Yesterday was such a nice day out. Bones went and spent some time at his favorite spot, beside the creek.

A little over a month from now Bones has a spa day scheduled, so he is working on getting as dirty as possible before he goes. The under carriage is really muddy.

We had nothing going on today. So this afternoon we went to our "home" State park (it is the closest to us) Vosburg Neck State Park. We did several trails part of the Vista (we have done that one twice before) the white tail, the river (of course Bones had to go for a dip in the river) and the Eagle trails. We saw a bunch of ducks couldn't tell what kind because they flew away too fast and we possibly saw a Sasquatch. It was a beautiful day and a great hike. Bones is tired now but it is his own fault he didn't want to stop.

Bones favorite spot is the creek by our house. He loves to play in the water (as long as he doesn't get his tail wet). The bridge is being replaced. So of course he had to inspect it to make sure it meets his standards. (It failed his inspection). But he did sit and enjoy the beautiful day yesterday

I think I might take Bones to get his picture taken with the Easter bunny. Now if I could just find a dog Easter egg hunt.

Well it is official Bones has his cabin booked at Chapman State Park July 14-19. When we stayed last year, he was the unofficial campground dog. Every evening we would walk around the campground and he had to check in on everyone and say hi. He also got TONS of treats that week. Now I have to decide what we are going to go see that week.

Bones and I go on vacation in July, once again we will be heading out to western PA for a week. Of course we will be checking off a few more State parks during our time. But, what else should we see? Of course it has to be a dog friendly place. Here we are at Kinzua Bridge State Park in July 2023.

I like to give my groomer a challenge to get me clean. I donn't have an appointment scheduled at this time, but this is a good start. I like to make sure my hooman gets his money's worth.

Bones enjoys listening to music especially in the car, Cannons is one of his favorites right now. He says go give "Loving You" a listen better yet buy the album. Another song he likes is "Bad Dream" I'll play that song and his tail starts to wag like crazy.

Bones is working on filling his PA State Parks and Forests passport. This year he is going to start collecting B.A.R.K. Ranger tags from National Parks and Historical Sites. Not only does this give him a chance to experience EVERYTHING. It also gives me a chance to learn and experience nature and history.

Bones is sending thanks to everyone that has been following his adventures. We probably won't be visiting any new parks until about April or May. We have done all the close ones so we will probably be looking at over night trips now. We will still post random adventures. Or parks we revisit.
