I know I haven’t posted on YouTube or Instagram in awhile, but I think this deserves a post. I have been extremely busy personally (all good things) and haven’t had the time to dedicate to YouTube but the tanks have been running all the same! Some new, some old.
Speaking of old, I recently lost my 7 year old Jack Dempsey. I got her with George, my Oscar fish, from Petco as my first fish coming back into the hobby. George has always been the star of the show and the Jack Dempsey has always been his sidekick, spending 7 years together. She had heath issues right off the bat and had swim bladder issues for most of her life. I have had several episodes over the year where I thought I was going to lose her. She was such a great fish and the fish room won’t be the same without her ❤️

It’s with sadness that I have to announce that my Sveni Pike cichlid has passed. This pike was my 3rd oldest fish next to my Oscar, George, and my Jack Dempsey. He was roughly 4.5 years old but his diet has been terrible for the last few years, only eating freeze dried krill, sparingly. I’ve offered it many different types of foods, treated it for parasites, and have tried everything in my power to change its diet and eating patterns but unfortunately have been unsuccessful. This was an awesome fish and will definitely be missed in the fish room 🙏🏼🙏🏼
