Funktion Recordings Inc. The home of Funktion Recordings, Funktion Black & Funktion Jacks. Established in 2002.

Based in Chicago, Funktion Recordings, has steadily become one of the most innovative and leading House Music labels, Worldwide. Founded by "Josh The Funky 1", and run along with Gus Calederone of "The House Moguls" in 2002. The Label has played host to some of House music's finest producers, including David Tort, Afrojack, Franky Rizardo, Ian Carey, Bingo Players and more. Today Funktion has expa

nded its output with two new sub-labels, which include "Funktion Black" dedicated to the darker techhouse, techno, tribal and minimal influences, and most recently there newest label "Funktion Jacks" which will specialize in the funky,jacking, and classic Chi-town influenced House sound. Lookout for Funktion Recordings in the future as the label continues to grow and spread its Chicago based roots into the ever growing Global Dance Music Community.
