any of my fellow astro witches excited for tomorrow? there will be a solar eclipse in Ta**us tomorrow! eclipses are emotionally charged phases that can majorly transform your life. to find what areas your life will see the most impact look at your natal chart for the placements and houses Ta**us(and Scorpio) are in. I know typically I’d be listing off ways to manifest during this new moon but it’s highly advised to avoid any forms of manifesting/law of attraction throughout a solar-lunar eclipse. due to the nature of an eclipse these manifestations are more likely to not play out the way you want them to. they will sour in the ways you need them to in order for you to be propelled into a higher consciousness(i.e. not getting triggered over spilled milk, depending on external, material things to fulfill you, etc)

instead of focusing on the new, try focusing on what’s falling apart until May 16th, the lunar eclipse. these are likely the areas in life that you should look into shifting your perspective or routine. eclipses bring a lot of emotions to the surface, illuminating what we’d typically like to avoid. to make ~going with the flow~ during these days easier focus on nurturing yourself and detachment. the more gratitude you show for the abundance you already have, the blessings working in your favor, the easier it’ll be to let that s**t go… odds are it wasn’t truly making you happy in the first place.

so what can you do in place of manifesting to still feel like a bonafide witch? simple grounding rituals will be plenty; such as envisioning the earth’s energy encircling you as you meditate, pulling you into the present as you focus on the ground beneath your feet, the rise of your chest as you breathe, etc. or just by giving yourself a needed break to really take care of your mind, body and soul.

don’t feed into the eclipse fear mongering, we have at least two of these guys a year. they’re really just the universe’s biannual vibe check! ride the waves and it won’t be as messy as some astrologers will have you believe. pinky promise💘

ways to harness the new moon’s energy:
-manifestation ritual followed by some detailed planning on what to do on your end to bring those wishes to life
-shadow work prompts that focus on where your motivation stems from, how your ideals on success were formed, what holds you back from going after what you want the most, etc
-any form of fire spells that focus on bringing in new blessings that align with your soul’s purpose

happy solstice everybody🌞
to celebrate last night we made some pomander balls which bring protection and abundance to your home throughout the new year. tomorrow we’ll be continuing our tradition of baking cookies after seeing a light show and opening gifts; I’m so excited! did y’all do anything to celebrate Yule/Saturnalia? what traditions are you excited for?
