As the sun sets during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Muslims from around the world gather to break their fast with dates and water followed by a meal known as "Iftar."

The Balindong National High School Barkada Kontra Droga Organization (BKD) in the leadership of President Mohadz M. Rombra-an successfully made big project namely the Ramadhan Iftar Drive 2025 on the 20th day of March 2025, Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM.

The organization had contributed an exact amount as the project's fund with the help and support of several public sectors of the community.

The Ramadhan Iftar Drive 2025 produced a 199 pieces of packs of meal. Furthermore, they have been successfully distributed it in a selected Halqah (Qur'an Reading Center) located in Barangay Dadayag, Balindong, Lanao del Sur.

With the unity and cooperation of members of the organization and some volunteered members of the community, the small work have been turn into huge activity, indeed with the celebration of the spirit of giving they worked and helped as one for the sake of the Ramadhan.

Moreover, charity drives during Ramadhan foster a sense of solidarity and community among Muslims. These initiatives provide an opportunity for individuals to come together, support one another, and address the needs of the less fortunate, embodying the spirit of unity that defines the Ramadhan experience.

We extend our gratitude to our dear School Principal, sir Alanodin M. Deca, with our beloved organization's adviser, sir Ismael I. H.Cosain, who gave their full dedication, commitment and unwavering support this huge activity. In addition, we also thank the individuals who dedicatedly supported and helped us to make this pious project more successful.

Assalamualaikum at magandang araw sa ating lahat!

Sa mga nagdaang mga paligsahan sa iba't ibang antas ng akademiko ay ating nasaksihan ang ating tagumpay, lalo na sa larangan ng Filipino. Kaya dahil dito, aming inaanyayahan kayo na maging kasapi sa pinakabagong organisasyon na naglalayong tulungan at paigtingin pa ang kakayahan, talento, at kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral ng Balindong National High School sa asignaturang Filipino, ang PANSOM (Kapisanan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Filipino ng Balindong National High School).

Ang Pansom ay ang magiging Official Filipino Club ng Balindong National High School na nakatuon sa asignaturang Filipino at sila din ang magtutugon sa mga mag-aaral na magrerepresenta sa paaralan sa iba't ibang paligsahan para sa asignaturang Filipino (gramatika, pahayagan, kasaysayan, panitikan, kultura, at iba pa) mapa Division level, panrehiyon, at pambansang kompetasyon.

Maaari niyong konsultahin ang mga g**o sa asignaturang Filipino sa inyong mga classroom para sumali, o di kaya ay pumunta sa mga students leaders (SSLG, YES-O, at BKD) mula Pebrero 12-17, 2025. Bukas ito sa mga mag-aaral sa baitang 7 hanggang 11.

Maging bahagi ng pinakabago at lumalawak na organisasyong pang Filipino ng ating paaralan!!

"Students' Rights and Welfare (STRAW) Forum"

Students from different schools around the province of Lanao del Sur, including the students from Balindong Municipality, gathered at Mapandi Memorial College, Marawi City in recently concluded STRAW (Students' Rights and Welfare) Forum in the afternoon of February 7, 2024 (Friday).

Among students from Balindong who attended in the program were BNHS Supreme Secondary Learners' Government (SSLG) officers led by their president namely Abdul Bari Mayo, BNHS Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) led by their president namely Mohadz Rombra-an, BNHS Citizenship Training Program (CTP) students, MSU- Balindong Community High School students, and college students from different colleges and universities.

The STRAW FORUM aimed to address the different types of problems and to promote the rights and welfare of the students in Lanao del Sur. Worthful deliveries of lectures were made by the respected personalities in Lanao del Sur, including Lanao del Sur Provincial Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid "Mujam" Raki-in Adiong , Provincial Youth Development Officer IV Jeff Adiong , MSU Retired Prof. Norkaya Mohamad and Atty. Ernesto Neri of 51 Akbayan Partylist .

The STRAW Forum was fully supported by known youth organization, the Pagasa of Ranao Islamic Youth Association (PAGARIYA).

BNHS BKD 4th Regular Meeting 🤝🏻🔴🟠

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) of Balindong National High School successfully concluded their Fourth Regular Meeting for this School Year 2024-2025 held at GAS 12 Room in the morning of January 22, 2025 (Wednesday). The meeting was attended by the major BKD officers, including the committee heads, two YES-O Officers and led by the BKD President, namely Mohadz Rombra-an. The more improvements, upcoming projects and activities of the organization. At the same time, the meeting also included the first ever impeachment voting for the removal of a BKD Officer due to impeachable violation that he did.

The organization are remained committed to their advocacy and shall remained their being transparent, accountable, and fair leadership among the students in Balindong National High School.

Congratulations mga ka-Barkada!

The current administration of Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) of Balindong National High School extend their open-armed congratulations to BKD officers who actively participated and represented the school and the Municipality of Balindong in the recently concluded Joint 2025 Lanao del Sur 1 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) and English Wizard Competition held at Piagapo Municipal Sports Complex, Piagapo, Lanao del Sur on January 14 - 15, 2025.

Among the active and dedicated BKD officers who participated in the contest are BKD President Mohadz M. Rombra-an for Sports Writing Filipino (DSPC Qualifier), BKD Secretary Nurhaillah Dimala for Sports Writing English (2nd Runner up), BKD Auditor Norhesham Abdulsamad for Photojournalist English (DSPC Qualifier), and Hamza D. Mamasaraya for Collaborative Desktop Publishing English (Champion). They , together with other BNHS DSPC participants, represent the Balindong National High School and the Municipality of Balindong in the competition under Sindaw o Kalombayan ( the official school publication of Balindong National High School).

We congratulate the whole Sindaw o Kalombayan members, English Wizard participants, Coaches, Teachers , officials who dedicatedly supported and helped to achieve the great achievements for the Municipality of Balindong!
