Get ready to dive into the excitement because the Hidden Lakes Festival is just a day away! To guarantee you have a blast here's some must-know info:

🚗 Transport 🚗
There's no parking in Hagley Park (except for mobility parking).

🎫 Entry 🎫
Gates open at 12.30pm and close at 8pm. Get your IDs and tickets ready for a seamless entry. Names DO NOT need to match your ticket. Remember, no pass-outs; once you're in, the party begins! Lakes Lounge, there is a separate entry line for you guys - check the signage as you enter the ticketing queues.

🥂 Upgrades 🥂
Lakes Lounge VIP upgrades will be available to purchase on the day for $134.99 from the merch tent.

🍔🥤 Food & Drink 🍔🥤
There's no outside food/drinks allowed. Dive into a feast with a full bar and Christchurch's favourite food trucks.

🌊 Water Bottle 🌊
Stay refreshed! Bring an empty bottle to fill up at the water stations scattered throughout the festival.

❗️Just a heads up to save anyone the issues I’ve had this week ❗️
The weekend of the 2nd and 3rd December I sold a lot of items online. I was heading abroad the 4th to 6th December so was up til midnight sunday packaging everything and labelling with pre paid postage labels.
My lovely husband then brought them all to the post office for me to post them.

Unfortunately I arrived home to endless queries as to where items were - most items took over a week to arrive and I spent days assuring people that I had indeed posted them as promised.

Today I tracked one that was posted on the 4th December and still hasn’t arrived. I waited 20 minutes to chat to the webchat.

They will investigate and email me later as to where the package has ended up. That’s fine but what’s not fine is the response I got when I asked if items posted this week would arrive on time. The answer I got sadly is they cannot guarantee anything would arrive on time for Christmas if posted this week. They assured me that their team are working six days a week to clear the backlog.

I’ve said that’s fine but asked why this information isn’t front and centre on their website? I also asked why they are still stating on the website that the last date for Christmas post is the 21/12/23 and why their stated delivery times are incorrect. I’ve asked them to at least help small businesses and parents out and update the website with the correct up to date information.

So, in a nutshell, if you are sending anything that you need to definitely arrive before the 25th, use a courier or have it collected. 🎁
