Easter Holiday Weekend on Tay Bridges Radio with some special programmes over the long weekend, Good Friday Non Stop Music Across The Decades selection until 6pm followed by The Friday Dance Show with dance classics until 8pm followed by The Friday Party Show Disco special with Peter McD until midnight.

Saturday sees the usual shows from 9am-6pm FlashBack To The 60s, Flashback To The 70's & The 80's Meltdown with Peter McD. 6pm The Saturday Dance Show with more dance classics , 9pm The Saturday Party Show with Peter McD until midnight.

Sunday sees the usual 70's & 80's Sunday with this week 1 - 4pm Peter McD with The 70's & 80's Sunday Afternoon Request Show and from 8-11pm The Sunday Evening Request Show with Peter McD, followed at 11pm with The 70s & 80s Love Zone.

Easter Monday sees the usual shows from 6pm - midnight but from 9am we have Flashback To The 60s, Flashback To the 70's & The 80's Meltdown with Peter McD.

Not something I’d normally post here but…..

Here is Sandy, our lollipop man at my daughters school, Ancrum primary….

He’s a popular personality amongst parents & the children, always has a smile on his face, loving the job he does.

As most of us know, who live in the area, the crossing outside the school which Sandy manages can be very precarious during school hrs due to a build up of parked cars on both sides of the road and drivers constantly jumping the Red Lights.

A few weeks ago Dundee City Council took Sandys lollipop away citing the health and risk to ‘Himself’ - Yup, that’s correct, to ‘himself’ !!!!!

After disqualifying his lollipop they have now told him he isn’t allowed to assist our children across the road…instead he has to stand on the pavement and wave them across….😡😡😡

Can it get any worse???

Well, ye!!! Spoke with Sandy this morning and he tells me they are now ‘sacking’ him on Christmas Eve with no replacement…in other words no more lollipop man for the school..😞😞😞

Dundee City Council have done this to save a few ££s!!!!

Dundee City Council you should be absolutely ashamed!!!!!!

Tay Road Bridge Update: Both carriageways open. Walkway will remain closed all night and tomorrow. Updates regards the walkway will be given tomorrow. No double deckers and 30 mph restrictions are in place due to high winds.

Tay Road Bridge Closure Update. It is anticipated that the bridge will be closed for at least 4 hours. Vehicle recovery, Lampost inspections and walkway damage to be dealt with, as well as high winds. Divert via Perth.
