It's taken me a while to post about this, and it's not only due to recent events. I'm always proud for opportunities to show to the world, and this time we got to screen it at in gorgeous Long Beach Island, NJ! Not only was LBI a stunning location, but the kind volunteers and cool film friends I met really set this film festival apart. I look forward to future collaborations that stem from this magical weekend as I continue on my filmmaking journey - I'm certainly inspired by all the insanely talented creatives I met! Even though I'm terrible at it, I hope that we can stay in touch. And, as we continue to inspire each other, I hope to see all of you in future film festivals to come!

As you can probably tell, I'm horrible at life updates. But, this past weekend was too big to miss! This Monday, May 16, 2022, I officially graduated from with an MFA in Writing and Producing for Television!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so, so much for everyone who was part of the celebration this weekend! This of course includes my family that endured a four-hour bus ride to come see me walk across the stage at the Barclay's Center 💗, my friends who put aside time in their busy schedules to indulge me and my graduation dinner, and even and the crew who inadvertently became part of the celebration when they asked me to speak on a panel about An Essential Delivery for the ESS Art of Giving Fundraiser! Thank you for being my first film family in NYC 📽️
It's with mixed feelings that I step into the professional world now. While I'm undoubtedly excited for what is to come, I'm also impossibly anxious as well. As a good friend recently told me, I'm going to try my best to enjoy the journey and not worry too much about reaching the destination. Cheers to (hopefully!) becoming a TV writer and maybe even a showrunner 🥂😁 Thank you, everyone, who have been watching over my journey insofar - I hope to bring you more good news to come! END ACT ONE 🎬
