Animal Faces 12" is out and kickin' butt, the amazing SERLING+CHARGER PORT split 12" lathe is out, SMUSH is my AOTY so far, Operation X-RAY gives Softseed Music + LEAVS some love, Exclaim! featured Smush & Terry Green in their upcoming artists to check out segment, Everything Is Noise did the same for Demersal & Niboowin, Terry Green's drummer was on the Metal On Metal Podcast, and Tenue has a new album comin'!!!

The two bangin’ Animal Faces EPs have been released on one 12” and they are selling well. I’ve seen a few people that hadn’t heard of this band before and it was nice to see them flip out. Yes, Animal Faces are that good. Sounds like the Lautrec and Caravels comparisons were helpful.

Animal Faces owned Toronto during the early to mid-2010s, playing the material from this 2 x EP collection of their first two releases, now housed on one convenient 12". 'Analytical Dreaming' and it's successor 'Anomie' are just as relevant today as they were a decade ago, mixing lots of clean chord hopping with groovy as hell instrumentals and passionate screaming. If you have time jump on youtube and check out their live performances...they were truly something else. Hopefully we see them back in action some day. 12"s /100 eco-mix. For fans of: Lautrec, Suffix, No Heirloom, Caravels, and Twelve Hour Turn.
