The day they were born. I had a scheduled c-section at 34+1. As soon as they were born, they were taken to the NICU. I didn’t get to actually hold them until hours later when I was able to stand on my own. They only had a 6 day stay in the NICU and we finally got to bring them home 🩷🩵

The first picture was the date of transfer. Nervous, anxious, all of the emotions flood in. The roller coaster ride that was your life the previous 4 months has come down to this.

The second picture was 20 days later when we found out that not only did one stick, but both of them did!
