The NOMADOLOGY project was an online literary project which explored the early potential of blog software to give artists and writers an opportunity to contribute to a collective online portal to publish stories, poetry, art and photography from anywhere in the world. Conceived by cross-media artists Timothy Parish & Nic Low, NOMADOLOGY took place from 2005 - 2009. During this time it involved over 30 regular writers and artists with a total of 674 individual entries that mapped the psychogeography of the early 21st century.
Many of the writers involved in the NOMADOLOGY have gone on to prove themselves as a unique and prolific voices in their generation some have gone on to publish other books including Beth Sometimes (FROM SOMETIMES, LOVE BETH - Affirm Press), Tom Doig (MORON TO MORON, THE COAL FACE & VILLAWOOD - Allen & Unwin), Kelly-Lee Hickey (Winner of the Australia Slam Poetry Finals 2011), Rak Razam (AYA AWAKENINGS - Icaro Press), Miles Allinson - (The Fever of Animals & Moonland - Scribe Publications) & Laura Jean McKay - HOLIDAY IN CAMBODIA (Black Ink Press) & THE ANIMALS IN THAT COUNTRY - winner of the Victorian Prize for Literature and the Arthur C. Clarke Award), Nic Low (ARMS RACE - Text Publishing) and Timothy Parish (PORTALS: Tales from The Undergrowth).
