Today is a special day. My debut on Anjunadeep is now out. "Calling Los Angeles" is my re-imagination of the classic deadmau5 track Faxing Berlin. All sounds were recreated from scratch to create this cover. The original came out right around the time I started DJing in 2007.

I wanted to put a modern twist on this tune, and was able to get it signed as the opening track on Anjunadeep Explorations 24 compilation. This is a big moment in my production career, which is just beginning. I'm just getting started!

Excited to be producing the 8th Annual Love Long Beach Festival 2023. Saturday July 22 and Sunday July 23, 2023. My team and I have worked very hard to keep prices the same as last year, and have been able to do so, amidst a sea of rising costs across the board. Mr. Patrice Baumel is coming back to the pier. His debut for us in 2019 was absolutely bonkers, and afterwards, he told me it was his favorite gig in LA in years. We're excited to welcome him back with open arms, bigger sound system and a top notch production.

Today is a big day. My track The Sky Was Purple (a cover of Nathan Fake's timeless The Sky Was Pink) is out now on Balance Music. There's hardly a record that has more meaning for me from the thousands of songs that I have played since I've started DJing in 2007, and it always comes back to this one!

So last year I decided to remake it from scratch, which as you can imagine was no easy task. Over 4 months spent carefully recreating the sounds and atmospheres, and lots of sonic wizardry added, as it had to stand on its own against the all-time champ. Well, Mr. Tom Pandzic who runs Balance really liked it when I sent it to him, and he helped assemble a perfect dance floor package with legendary Andre Lodemann, Jamie Stevens and Danny Bonnici on the remix duties. Once it was all said and done, I wanted to experiment by subtracting all the beats from my original, in what is the Reprise mix here (and very well received as well).

This is just the beginning of my production career, and I'm excited about what's ahead. For now, I hope these tracks move the dance floor for many years to come, just like Nathan's record still does, 19 years after its release

Nathan Fake's The Sky Was Pink has been one of my all-time biggest inspirations in all things music. The Icelandic Mix, and of course the Holden Remix. These records have shaped my sound in more ways than I can probably imagine.

Well, today I'm excited to share some news with you all. After many many months of work, my cover of this record has been signed to none other than Balance Music , the same label that released Balance 005 by James Holden, one of the greatest mix CDs of all time in my book.

Me and DAVÍ are coming back to the pier end of this month. One of my favorite DJs bar none, and the person that kicked off the Subtract Music label back in 2011.
