Our next film. We are proud to be the producer of SPACEWOMAN.

Announcing SPACEWOMAN: a new landmark documentary film about Eileen Collins, the first woman to pilot and command a spacecraft.

Based on the book “Through the Glass Ceiling to the Stars” written by Eileen Collins and Jonathan H. Ward, the film is directed by Hannah Berryman. It is produced by multi-award-winning producers Keith Haviland, Haviland Digital, and Natasha Dack Ojumu, Tigerlily Productions.

SPACEWOMAN will be completed in later 2024, for theatrical release in 2025.

Orion is now bound for the moon. One hour and 38 minutes after leaving the ground, NASA's Artemis I spacecraft escaped Earth orbit to begin its journey to the moon. The uncrewed Orion is the first vehicle built for astronauts to "go for TLI" in almost 50 years.

We have GOOD news. The team behind the multi-award-winning documentary THE LAST MAN ON THE MOON are DELIGHTED to announce a new short form edition, focused on Apollo 17, one of NASA’s most remarkable missions. The 23-minute film celebrates the 50th anniversary of the mission, its crew and those who supported humanity’s most recent journey to the Lunar surface.

THE LAST MAN ON THE MOON - APOLLO 17 has extensive new material including commander Gene Cernan’s never-before-heard words to the next US astronauts to leave their footprints on the Moon, which we now know as the ARTEMIS generation. The film honours the past, and looks forward to the future.

We are especially pleased to be working with our friends at Space Center Houston, where the film will be shown as part of their celebrations of Apollo 17 from December onwards.

Remembering Roy Chadwick. Our new film will tell the story of how the Avro Lancaster came to be created.

The legendary Roy Chadwick was born 30th April 1893.

He started work at Avro in Manchester at the age of 18. He would go on to design many aviation classics, from the Manchester, Tudor and York to the Lincoln. Later, he even set his seal on the Jet Age with the mighty delta Vulcan. But ultimately Roy Chadwick will forever be known as the man who created the .

January 27, 1967
The Apollo 1 fire was a tragic and galvanising moment for NASA, in which three astronauts were killed during a test of spacecraft power systems less than a month before they were scheduled to launch on the first crewed flight of the Apollo programme.

Two of the astronauts had flown on previous missions: Gus Grissom became the second American in space during the Mercury programme, while Ed White was the first American spacewalker on Gemini 4. The third, Roger Chaffee, was a rookie who had served as CapCom during White's pioneering EVA.

While the cause of the fire itself was not conclusively determined, the high-pressure oxygen environment of the capsule was found to have played a foreseeable part in the tragedy, along with inadequate safety features and materials. The event caused a shift in NASA's culture and drove legendary flight director Gene Kranz to devise his famous 'tough and competent' speech.

In the words of another NASA legend, Chris Kraft: “had that not happened, we would never have gotten to the moon. That interim period following the fire was the only thing that saved our ass, because we were able to then step back and say: what’s wrong with this thing? What do we have to do to fix it? It brought together the whole organisation from top to bottom in NASA. Without all that happening we would have never gotten there.”

We remember these fallen astronauts, on this solemn day in human spaceflight.
