Finished the rest of the Intercessor kit and did a bit more work on the Furioso/DC/Librarian kit. I’ve gotten a couple used boxnought bodies to put my extra kit bits on, figured it’d be cheaper than buying full kits for more units.

I also got really into working on one of the intercessors, so he’s got a bunch of “flavor” decorations. I need to figure out what I want to do for an empty gun though, he’s supposed to be running low on ammo and switching to his close combat weapons in the middle of a fight. Might make a good lieutenant proxy if I don’t use him as a plain intercessor.

Haven’t had a whole lot of time to work on stuff the past several months, but Highlander is mostly done, Ryusei-Go is assembled (thinking about painting it), and primed 6/10 used tactical marines that I’d gotten.

The other 4 still need to have some extra paint scraped off before I prime them.

Their paint jobs were on there pretty thick. Last picture is what they looked like before I soaked them in Super Clean.

I will always fondly remember the enjoyable interactions I always had over the years with the DragonResponse page's admin.

My only regret is not being able to facilitate a meetup and hang out sooner, because you lived in TN as well. I also liked to include them a lot when pinging SmugResponse and Meme page, title tbd for sh*ts and giggles. Remember the good times, folks.

Was able to make some progress, finished rebuilding the used tactical squad and put them on legal bases. Terminators will have to wait a bit longer on that

IPA stripped some of the thicc marines, but I’m worried about it damaging the plastic so I’m trying super clean next

Termies are lookin better, I’m gonna let them sit for a bit longer just to see if that eats through the paint a bit more.

The tacticals didn’t have any change. I’m testing one in 91% IPA, going to test another in mineral spirits, and if neither of those change or if there’s adverse effects, I’ll go from there.

Here’s a better look at both sets, termies look good while the tacs are poorly assembled and painted

Painted up a test termie to see if I could get the end result I was looking for. Didn’t quite achieve the sort of neon I would’ve liked, but it still has sort of the toxic/venomous/jungle vibe I was looking for.

I’m slowly running out of space on my desk. I need a paint rack to free up some of it at least so I can rebuild/repaint what needs to have that done

I do have someone making a paint rack for me, but then I’ll need to find space for the paint rack to store my paints

Round 2 was a close loss on points, probably could’ve chosen better secondary objectives.

Round 3 was pretty much over in the first battle round, but the Custodes player did pretty well all things considered.

Got 6th, would’ve been difficult to win since 1st place had an average of 90 points per game

Results of round 1: bye round, but it gave me plenty of time to fix my models since I tripped in the parking lot on my way in :^)

Took inventory, I think I’m only missing a scanner on my land fortress and a missile pod for the Sagitaur. Stuff I can easily order custom for some extra flavor if I have to
