I really adored each unique session, learning about their interests and just remembering the exploration of ourselves in our young adulthood, the world at our fingertips. I say do it all, try it all, the sky has no limits! Wear your hair whatever color, play with your looks and outfits! Be an artist, be an athlete, be both! Do whatever you want while you can! Chamberlain was my last senior shoot before landing in the hospital for the remainder of my pregnancy. I’m so glad I got to meet him and his family this year! That wraps my senior season and photo season until we welcome our bundle now in December! I am so encouraged by the great young folks I met this senior season. They are really great kids (young adults)!

A vulnerable post to my fellow clients and friends! It was HARD cancelling my October photo shoots in light of my recent hospital stay. I got to keep 3 shoots out of the 10 I had on the books for October and November. Being a photographer is physical. It’s up, it’s down, it’s climbing around. It’s possibly a misstep. It’s hiking, it’s walking, it’s modeling poses. It’s moving your body in ways you take for granted until you can’t move your body in those ways! Austin and I have worked SO hard this year to grow our little biz before baby arrives so that I can buy the gift of time with him next year. We have grown SO much this year, and appreciate every referral and every single beautiful client! Unfortunately, with our High Risk nature now, I had to make the decision to rest, which is not a word I am familiar with. I’ve always had to hustle, and I’ve always been a hustler! Austin had to assist me today with my photo shoot by being my shooter part of the time today! He did some practice using me as the subject, and I’m thankful for him for stepping in when I need him, but also always being right by my side in this life inquiring what it is that I need! He did a great job, and here’s some photos from his work today❤️☀️ While I can only carry out a couple of my jobs this year, I’ll be so happy to come back more powerful and more ready next year! Please keep us in mind! We love you guys! Thank you for an amazing year in photography with us!
