India's First Gold medal in Tokyo Olympics -

Subedar Neeraj Chopra of the Indian Army has created history today by winning a gold medal in javelin throw. What makes this win so special is that this picture of Neeraj with Nadeem which went viral recently - the true spirit of sportsmanship and the fact that they both respect each other so much is proof that no matter how much hatred people may spread, the bond of love will always outpower the hatred. Punjabis feel a special pride in the fact that both Neeraj and Nadeem are Punjabis from Panipat (now Haryana) and Khanewal respectively and they both performed remarkably well in the Olympic finals. This picture of Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra has all my heart and will be remembered in the sports history of India and Pakistan.
