Sunny Dada here! The founder and frontman of Afrokokoroots. We have lots of new followers 👋🏾, so I thought I’d take the next couple weeks to invite you deeper into my life and story, and how our band came to be. I get lots of questions after shows about where I’m from, and what brought me to Nashville to play music. I’ll start by telling you that I began playing music at the age of 4 in Lagos, . And music has brought me all over the world, from China to Australia, Europe, Brazil, and Israel, to name a few places. I even worked with the Chinese government to teach African culture and music to children in government schools. This music means so much to me, and I’m grateful that it’s now brought me to .

So much more to my story. Thank you for coming along for the ride.
